Panoramic PTZ camera
Panoramic PTZ camera, also known as panoramic gaze camera system, is a combination of panoramic camera and high-speed ball camera (i.e. PTZ camera). It is a high-definition network camera that combines the advantages of panoramic camera global wide viewing angle and high-speed ball camera local close-up gaze.
PTZ is actually the abbreviation for Pan/Tilt/Zoom. The PTZ camera combines the advantages of a panoramic camera that can observe a 360 degree or 180 degree field of view angle, as well as the advantages of a high-speed ball camera that can freely rotate to the area of interest and see the details of the area of interest through optical zooming, effectively overcoming their respective shortcomings, thus possessing both the advantages of a panoramic camera that can see wide and the advantages of a high-speed ball camera that can see clearly.
The working principle of panoramic PTZ cameras includes two core processes, namely calibration and linkage, as follows:
■ Before application, first establish the corresponding relationship between the panoramic camera space coordinate system and the high-speed spherical camera Polar coordinate system. This process is commonly referred to as "point surface calibration".
During the application process, based on the established spatial correspondence between the panoramic camera and the high-speed ball camera, the pixel coordinates of the area of interest in the panoramic image are converted into the pitch angle and variation of the high-speed ball camera, and the high-speed ball camera is rotated and scaled to the corresponding pitch angle and variation. This process is commonly referred to as "point surface linkage".

The camera uses a ZSP2504 encoder, which can generate high-quality video streams at ultra-low bit rates.
