What is the working principle of servo motor encoder

1、 The working principle of AC servo motors
(1) The rotor in the servo motor is a permanent magnet. The electromagnetic field is formed by the three-phase current controlled by the driver. The rotor rotates under this magnetic field. At the same time, send the encoder feedback signal provided by the motor to the driver.
(2) The driver compares the feedback value with the target value to adjust the rotation angle of the rotor. The accuracy of the servo motor depends on the accuracy of the encoder (line number).
2、 Principle of DC servo motor
(1) DC servo motors include stator, rotor core, motor shaft, servo motor winding commutator, servo motor winding, variable speed motor winding, and variable speed motor commutator. The rotor core is composed of silicon steel laminations fixed on the motor shaft.
(2) The servo system mainly relies on pulse positioning. Basically, it can be understood that when the servo motor receives a pulse, it will rotate the angle corresponding to the pulse to achieve displacement.
(3) Due to the servo motor's inherent function of transmitting pulses, it will emit a corresponding number of pulses at each rotation angle. In this way, it forms an echo or closed-loop with the pulses received by the servo motor.
(4) In this way, the system will know how many pulses are sent to the servo motor and how many pulses are received simultaneously. In this way, the rotation of the motor can be controlled to achieve positioning up to the millimeter level.
