The elastic coupling is fixed with positioning screws, and the gap between the two positioning screws is 90 ° to lock the shaft of the fixed coupling. Traditional fixation methods may cause damage to the shaft center or difficulty in disassembly due to the contact between the front end of the screw and the shaft center. Clamping screw fixation is the use of the force of internal hexagonal bolts to tighten, causing the narrow gap to contract and tightly clamping the shaft center. This method is easy to fix and disassemble, and will not cause damage to the shaft center, making it a very common fixing method. Keyway type fixation is suitable for high torque transmission, and is usually used in conjunction with positioning screws and clamping screws to prevent axial sliding.
The D-shaped hole is usually fixed. If the motor shaft is D-shaped and the positioning screw cannot be fixed, the coupling hole can be processed into a corresponding D-shaped hole and fixed with the positioning screw, so there is no need to worry about slipping. Expansion sleeve fixation is achieved by tightening the four positioning screws on the end face of the coupling to compress the sleeve. It is suitable for connecting and fixing some stepper motors and servo motors with high torque, such as expansion sleeve diaphragm couplings, expansion sleeve plum blossom couplings, expansion sleeve corrugated pipe couplings, etc. Elastic couplings are made of engineering plastic as elastic components, suitable for connecting two coaxial transmission shaft systems.
Elastic couplings have the ability to compensate for relative deviation between two shafts, provide cushioning, shock absorption, and wear resistance, making them widely suitable for various occasions. Elastic couplings are made of polyurethane plastic as elastic components, with a working temperature of -35~+80 degrees Celsius. Polyurethane elastomer is limited by convex claw blocks, which can avoid internal deformation caused by impact and external deformation caused by centrifugal force; The large concave surface of the protruding claw reduces the surface pressure on the involute teeth, and even under overload, the teeth will not wear or deform. Impact and vibration, environmental temperature and humidity range, presence of oils, solvents, corrosive liquids, vapors, sand, dust, salt water, and radiation.
